Adventures in Bennionland

We have had a wet winter here in SoCal.
I had been thinking about winter here in California and I realized that my boys have lived here for more of their life in CA than UT. That this is more of how they envision winter than the snowy landscapes that I remember. So, since I had President’s day off I decided that the boys and I needed a Snow Day. We packed some lunches and made the 1 hour trip to “The Village” at Big Bear Lake. We speant about 2 hours exploring in the snow. I had to drop a quick post in here today. I took the boys for a ride around the block which equals a brisk walk for me. As we were going I remembered a picture I took of them about this time last year. So as we were going I pulled out my phone as I did last May and snapped a quick picture. I Shared these with Shell and she urged me to post them so here they are:

Also I need to apologize for Shell she had every intention of posting 20 posts this weekend (believe me I saw the sticky note with the checklist of posts). As many of you know it was our anniversary this weekend and to her suprise I whisked her away for the weekend to celebrate it (sans computers). So I know she will get to the posts and you all will love them but it may take a bit longer as I through a monkey wrench in her plans.
