The Capital

On the way home from school we had the following discussion:

Will: “Who are all the boys in this state that we love Walker?”
Walker names most of the boy relatives but forgets to mention Alan.
Me: “What about Uncle Alan?”
Walker: “Yeah we love Uncle Alan.”
Will: “Jen and Alan live in the capital. Sacramento. That’s the capital part of California.”
Me: “Yep.”
Will: “Mom, we live in the lowercase part of California.”

Ha ha. I tried to explain that we live in the lower half of California but for Will it’s the lowercase. Thanks Kindergarten!

PS – no one told me how AWESOME the rides home from school would be. The boys, glad to see each other at least for the first ten minutes, tell each other the strangest things!

PPS – volunteering in the classroom is also awesome. More to come on that later.

Don’t you love that? I miss those conversations, about a 1/4 mile from the school so the girls walk home together (they informed that I don’t need to meet them at the crosswalk), and I think I miss all that so glad to see you conversations.
    Your boys are hilarious!

I love it! That’s funny – and very clever. I agree about that after-school time being awesome. though Liza only goes 3 days a week, and I only drive one of those three days. So, it’s more the after-school-at-home time that’s awesome :)
