Missing Blogger Alert!

Posted in Our Family | 6 Comments »

Wow. It seems as though we’ve been missing.

Minus our last post on Celiac Disease (which was a phone-in give that I’d made the documents before hand) we haven’t blogged since April 28th!

So where have we been? Well let’s see:

Phew – life moves fast and it doesn’t look like it intends to slow down. Summer is about to start with plans for camping, Solstice parade, family visits, a triathlon, Legoland, visits to family, BBQs, a 10k, and a kindergarten start on August 4th!

Please forgive us for our neglect (and my failure to return phone calls!) and watch for more posts when life presents us with another slow moment.

Celiac Awareness Month!

Posted in Will | 2 Comments »

This month is the time when the Celiac Disease community reaches out to inform and educate our friends, family and medical professionals about Celiac Disease.

Recently we mailed out letters to our immediate family – and would have liked to have mailed one to everyone we know! Since we couldn’t we thought the next best thing would be to post the files here!

We urge each of you to take the next step in learning more about Celiac Disease. As each of us becomes more aware, we take that awareness with us to our friends and family and to those who might need the information.

The following are our efforts to inform and educate:

Celiac Disease Family Letter (an intro to CD and some basic facts)

Gluten-Free Food Chart (a reference chart to the ins and outs of GF Food)

We hope you benefit from the information – and urge you to go out and try a gluten-free product today! Even if it’s just a crisp and delicious apple.
