Adventures in Bennionland

So the good news is:

We’ve got our internet connection! And yes, I’ve already updated my Facebook, responded to a couple of emails, checked my bank account, paid bills, caught up on blogs, and more.

The bad news is:

I did all of the above before venturing to this blog. So I’ve used up my energy on things other than updating our blog. Oh, and I got a new book and it’s been calling my name all day.

In the next day or two I’ll have some time to update. Especially since Eric has jury duty (yeah, I’d chuckle but he’s gonna love almost every minute).

As a teaser let me just say that my love for the city pictured below has grown in leaps and bounds by my recent trip.

And, with the help of our apartment laundry room, I’ve come full circle in the “grass in green on the other side” analogy. You’ll be interested to hear what wins out (personal washer/dryer @ home or laundry room).

We did it! Our move, to the town known on here as Le Grand, has happened! We are referring to it as Le Grand because it only has 13,000 folks in it – and that makes me a little nervous.

We moved on Saturday November 1st – with wonderful help from Papa, KK, Auntie Lyndsy, Uncle Jon, Patti (who watched the boys), Doug, Goosey, and the Tom & Autumn family.

The boys spent the first night with Papa and KK, and then came out to the new place on Sunday after we bought our first new couch. It gave us time to get their room all set-up, do some set-up in ours, and make the place comfy for them. They both slept in their rooms, through the night – so we must have done a good job!

Given that we ended up moving much more suddenly than originally excpected – I forgot to do several things. Specifically I forgot to set-up our internet.

So – we are without the internet until Monday the 10th. Somedays, like today, I will be at my parents and will check things from here. Other times I’ll try to sneak to the Le Grand library and use theirs.

Just know that updates and responses, be they at Facebook, email or here, will be slow. So go old school and call us if you need something!
