One of the few feature length movies that we have seen in the theater is The Bee Movie. We actually ended up seeing it quite a few times in the theater with different people. Will and Walker appreciated the different take on bees that the movie gave them – especially the notion that bees don’t like to sting. Mostly because it’s bee suicide. Will and Walker have been less nervous when a bee comes in the room or when they run into one outside….until now.
Walker informed me at a trip to the Arboretum that ‘Barry the bee is MEAN!’. Don’t let this little face fool you:

Walker said this all while looking like this:
Because of this:

We were rolling down a hill at the Arboretum and he unfortunately got in the way of a pollenating bee. It would seem as though the bee won (given Walker’s face and our immediate departure from the Arboretum) but then again, we know what happens to the bee!
And don’t worry. We stopped by the Arboretum gift shop and got a piece of candy, and that cheered Walker right on up!

I had to drop a quick post in here today. I took the boys for a ride around the block which equals a brisk walk for me. As we were going I remembered a picture I took of them about this time last year. So as we were going I pulled out my phone as I did last May and snapped a quick picture. I Shared these with Shell and she urged me to post them so here they are:
2007:
2008:
Also I need to apologize for Shell she had every intention of posting 20 posts this weekend (believe me I saw the sticky note with the checklist of posts). As many of you know it was our anniversary this weekend and to her suprise I whisked her away for the weekend to celebrate it (sans computers). So I know she will get to the posts and you all will love them but it may take a bit longer as I through a monkey wrench in her plans.
My deepest apologies… but really can you blame me?
